Our Approach

When dealing with a population just being introduced to a workout plan, these first experiences will go a long way towards their approach to fitness and living a healthy lifestyle down the road. This first impression can be a springboard to building good habits, or a turnoff that can lead to a more sedentary lifestyle.

A record number of kids participate in organized sports today, and an alarming percentage quit because their experience was not uplifting and positive. Every kid deserves to be part of an athletic environment that encourages, challenges, and inspires.

We work hard to ensure that every moment spent with us is a positive one for our kids, especially the youngest ones. Our approach involves, positive communication from our coaches, and challenging each individual at an appropriate level.

We mix in plenty of sport-type games in our speed development sessions. Partner and team challenge drills can turn a regular workout into a bonding event that is uplifting and exciting for most young athletes.

It has been said that for every child who has been pushed too hard, there are ten who haven't been pushed hard enough. We encourage even our youngest clinic members to challenge themselves to work hard, and take responsibility for their own future. Whether they are part of a group drill, or training on their own, we stress always making a great attempt to succeed no matter what the circumstances.

For our coaches, nothing is more satisfying than to watch someone develop from their first session to their last. Many kids that are new to our program come in for their first session a little apprehensive as to whether they can handle working with us. Often, when we challenge those kids to do something they experience success, and what a difference that makes.

You can just see what a life-changing experience it is for them. It usually begins to snowball from there, because they'll want another challenge to overcome, then another, and another. Before you know it, you are looking at someone who has built a stronger work ethic, more self-confidence, and an ability to take on new challenges without fear. Beyond any of the training and sports success they may experience, I believe this is really the hidden value of following a quality training program like ours.
